When crocop came to Croatia he said that He will continue career. First time after defeat he didnt said " My career is over". He said that he will do two remaining fights.
UFC president was complained on Fight Mir vs Crocop, but American Fighter passed worse then Mirko crocop Filipovic.
He said a lot of bad things to Fran Mir, He called him coward, becouse He was scared when he saw that things dont go as they planed.
Today Dana said something about Filipovic:
I respect Mirko a lot, He showed up on the fight although he had bad injurie. I'm sure that he wasn't a real crocop.
Would he fight again ? I don't know we need to talk with him, said Dana White leaving room for continued cooperation with Cro Cop, and the possible end.
Mirko Clearly said that he will not fight to the end of the year, so don't expect answer on this question to fast.
Fans What would you like? To see Mirko extension, or Mirko End?

Of course I would love to see Mirko fighting again and again and again! I personally think he still has it all in him; it is in his blood like he said. And let us not forget that he was one fight away from the belt when he lost to Gonzagas, but I guess that is what life is about, you never know what could happen a minute from now even if you guessed it right. I remember that Overeem invited Mirko before to train with him in his camp, and I hope Mirko will think about moving to this camp with an open mind; I believe he will find better training partners, specially that he is fighting in MMA and not in kickboxing competitions. If there is one fight I would like to see next for Mirko, it would be against Gonzagas; I think this could be the fight that bring Mirko out of his cage and motivate him to push everything to the limits. And if there is one reason I ask Mirko to retire beside his health condition, it would be that if I know for sure that he is NOT planning on using his nasty left leg kicks again. I just do not get it, how come a warrior does not use his best weapon. I do not think that the fear of take downs is the reason because since when and Mirko had fears of being taken down. I wish you a successful comeback Mirko!

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion he should not end his career. he improved his skills especially his takedown defence. ( mir, a fighter i respect a lot, could not take mirko down once in the fight!!!)
I was satisfaied with the performence of mirko, no matter he lost the fight.
the only thing that made me sad is, my fear, that mirko would doubting himself, because he lost the fight. Mir knocked him out via luckypunch. But that means nothing!
everyone with iq of 70 knows that a luckypunch can happens everytime to everyone, and is not a sign of superiority or bad skills.

ReplyDeleteI was disapointed with Mirko after the fight and some days after because i am a really fan of mirko and I should, wanted to have look him win that fight against Mir for 2 reasons(I dont like Frank Mir and I would like to see crocop win against a good fighter again....hehe).
But what we need to know is the mirko is not the same of the past(pride time) in my opinion, now he is on the second level of heaveweight fighters, but I know that he can make a good fights yet...
I think that he has around 6 or 7 fights in your until his end carrer, but if you have attention mirko is taking some sinals of his rest.... more happy and so one!!
