Mirko Filipovic is not seriously injured and should fight against Frank Mir. on september the 25 in Indianapolis.
Yesterday Cro Cop get an indisposed punch in his eye on his last training, and it seems that the fight against the american MMA master is questionably. But, during this friday, Filipovic had a couple of special checkups,
and the resolve is that he can normally travel and of course, fight against Mir.
"I did get a punch, that's true, but it is not so scary. nor was that my first, nor my last that I'll get in my career. things like these just happen during trainings. Tomorrow we are travelling to the USA, and the fight against Mir is not questionable. I'm feeling good and I'm ready for the match" said Cro Cop for Index.hr but it's still to see, if this injury will disturb the battle itself. We remind you, that Filipovic accept the match against Mir just 5 weeks before, and that during his vacation. UFC sent him an offer which he couldn't decline, and Cro Cop says that this is also a way to thank to his fans who follow him for all these years
The match agains Mir is definitely the test of his career, cause its about an ex-double UFC champion and one one of the best heavyweight fighter in the MMA-world.
